Versa Tabla

Dinner is the single most staged daily event in the American household. The goal with Versa Tabla was to create a dining table and seating so that when one is not hosting a meal their dining area will still be inviting usable space. Dead space is not an option in the confines of the urban environment and creating furniture that can accommodate multiple tasks is a necessity. In a smaller apartment where there might not be a formal dining room this table and bench can double as a desk, a work bench or even a bar. The choice of utilizing solid wood and not veneered masonite with this table invites abuse. One can serve braised short ribs to a party of ten on this table or true the rims to their road bike on it. The dining table no longer requires clean hands and pressed shirts to be engaged.
